The weird thing is they all got the final question right. So they can't have been that far off going into final Jeopardy. Someone's gotta be wishing they wagered 1 more dollar.

I watched it the other night...not really anything that earth shattering.

The guys in 2nd & 3rd going into final jeopardy had $8000 each, and the guy in first had $13,600.

2nd & 3rd bet it all to double, and the leader wagered $2400. It wasn't a complete fluke, the guy leading could have bet a dollar more and he would have won by a buck. He obviously meant to do it.

which is quite smart of him. he pockets $16,000 and comes back to play again against the same opponents, whom he's already shown to be a little better than. he's just trying to go for the easy money
