Stallone has been officially charged with bringing 48 vials of the human growth hormone product Jintropin into Australia, where it is considered a performance-enhancing drug, so possession requires a permit from the government.

Is HGH the same thing a steroid? I had thought they were different performance enhancers (I'm probably splitting hairs here).

not a roid per se, much harder to test for as well.

HGH also doesnt work as well as the chemroids available. The reason its used is because its extremely hard to test for in men and women under 30 (majority of athletes where testing would happen).

HGH is also believed to not cause as many of the nasty side effects as chemroids are supposed to.
