This is why he can't be relied on. He is sooo feeble. He will NEVER win a Grey Cup. Not because he sucks but he can't make it through the playoffs without getting injured.
(and the cup ring he won when Garcia took us there while Mr Glass was sitting on the bench doesn't count)

I'd take Dave back in a SECOND. Did you see the pre-game where Dave was breaking down game film? The guy is a genius. Any QB would be hurt after that hit he took. The guy is tough. He ran for two hard firstdowns and did not slide. QBs get injured all the time. Just part of the job. Wasn't Dave the MVP in the CFL last year? He is no more fragile than anyone else. The Stamps have knocked Printers out of the game at least three times this season. Crandell has been hurt multiple times. Damon Allen out for most of the year. Brett Farve is hurt all the time and was even addicted to painkillers for a while.

Dave gets a bad rap. Maybe because he is not as mobile as other QBs.

I'll bet you he wins a Grey Cup. Might even happen this year.

He will win a grey cup ring this year, but it will be Printers at QB for the game.

He will NEVER win a Grey Cup? He's actually already won one.

Did you not read the entire quote? he won one being a bench warmer when Garcia brought us there. Then the next year we get back to the finals and he gets flipping injured! Even Crandell has won a grey cup. Dave will never win one because his glass body can't handle more than 10 games a season.

You say he's never won one and then you say he was the back up to Garcia when they won? So what is it? Has he or has he not won a Grey Cup? The answer is YES. If you ever run into him, ask him that very question and he will answer it by showing you his Grey Cup ring

Once again did you not read my entire quote?i guess you don't read brackets????

oh and the equipment guy has a grey cup ring too. did he win it for the stamps?

I think your support for the NHLPA has made you miss some details.

So the backup goalie doesn't deserve a Cup ring?

The equipment manager?

What a farce! They contribute to the team a heck of a lot more than you think. They deserve the ring and the accolades that go along with it.

Why doesn't it count? Cuz you said so? Okay buddy. And like calculoso said, saying Dickenson doesn't deserve his Grey Cup ring when Garcia was the starter is like saying Rick Wamsley didn't deserve his Stanley Cup ring in '89 since he was the backup. Nice logic buddy.

When did I say I supported the PA?

Dave did take the Stamps to the Grey Cup the year after Garcia left (Calgary lost to Hamilton). He beat BC in BC in the Western Final. He is a winner, and would still be in the NFL collecting a big pay cheque if he would be satisfied being a second or third stinger.
