Tarantino/Rodriguez - Grindhouse
Has anyone see the Trailer for this movie(s)? It is a throw back with two full length horror movies one after the other. And in keeping with the retro feel both look cheesy, way over the top, and awesome.
One of the movies is called Planet Terror and is a zombie flick. The other is called Death Proof and is a slasher flick. If anyone has seen Dusk until Dawn, these two movies seem reminiscent of that one.
These two movies won't win any awards. But they should be entertaining.

Anyone else going to see this?

So pumped for this, two of my top 5 favorite directors in the same movie, awesome......Now, only if they could get my boy Chris Nolan somehow, but that would be a way different movie and probably wouldn't be as fun as this is gonna be.

Not to mention it has Kurt Russel in a role he was born to play...
...and Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel) had a hand in directing parts of the Rodriguez movie

 Posted the 6 millionth post!

I saw the trailer, and I think it's a great style to have this filmed in. It's fresh, over-the-top, and will be a dirty pleasure. In addition, I think this will actually be an underrated production by many. Sometimes the best films are the ones without critical praise!

Saw Tarantino on some show promoting the film the other day wearing a Johsntown Chiefs jersey (the Slapshot one). I can't wait to see the film(s).

To be honest they are not really my type of flicks but I love how they are marketing them. The movie posters are fantastic. I actually have a real fascination with movie posters. When I got to the theatre I usually spend about 10 minutes wandering around to make sure I see them all - which irritates the crap out of the people I'm going with.
But that poster above is pretty neat.

I've always been curious about that movie poster place at 16th & Centre. Has anyone ever been in there?

I haven't been there, but I read an article about it in the paper a long time ago saying it was one of the best around. I think this is the link.
The Movie Poster Shop
You can already buy the poster for this movie.

Well years ago I used to journey out to place on 32nd in the NE regulary - they had a fantastic collection of movie posters - both current and vintage.
Not sure if this is the same guy that has moved, or a new place. I've seen it but not checked it out.

I live in the NE, and used to work on 37th Ave but I don't know of any movie poster places along 32nd (but if it was just off 32nd in one of the strip plazas I may have missed it - there are a lot of little businesses in there).

Sorry yeah it wasn't right on 32nd. Behind in the business complex West of Barlow and North of 32nd. If you didn't know it was there you would never have found it.

Must be this place. If it is, I've drive by it and didn't know it existed.
