Whereas the conversion from hockey ice to lacrosse floor is much easier: take carpet and unroll. I love how they don't even bother to make sure the edges are level with the boards.

Used to work there, and it was pretty neat watching some of this stuff being finished off Sunday mornings before Raptors games (half the time the crew would even get to play on the court before people came in, which was a nice perk). What I found amazing while watching this stuff awhile back was how fast some of the stuff like the boards were removed. After some of the games they'd get on it right away in in literally probably an hour and a half, the boards were gone IIRC. Pretty interesting stuff though (and IIRC, they starting pay for those positions were $18 and went up pretty good after probation).

Oh, forgot, but what's even more interesting is that supposedly the Staples Centre can be converted from NHL to NBA in something like 3 or 4 hours. Now that's nuts!
