Big win for the Blues vs the Hawks by the score of 4-3. Ovechkin had a goal and 2 assists, Salo had a pair of goals and Barnaby with the game winner in the 3rd period. A costly win though as Crosby was checked from behind by Kotalik and left the game early. How long he'll be out, we won't know until tomorrow.

St.Louis continues to play strong hockey as they are in the playoff race.

Default Hot Wings!

Holly Smokes! Any one in the mood for some scorching Hot Wings? Detroit is now 5-0-1 in the past six games. Out shooting there opponents by a wide margin in every game. I think the key is to have a really crappy defense to keep the shot total down and some average scoring to get the shots on goal into the mid 30's every game. I recommend everyone try this. Reality should all coming crashing back to earth tomorrow when Detroit plays the Wild. A team that has owned us since the beginning of time.

Good win for the Kings tonight. Starting to turn things around at home which is a good sign. Give the home fans something to cheer about. A tough game against the Lightning tomorrow.

Rangers beat Jets!

A low scoring hard fought game. The Jets are trying not to roll over and let playoff teams walk all over them and the Rangers just got by the Jets today.

A very close game, 34 shots a piece with the Rags winning just 8 seconds into the extra period. Shawn Thornton was recalled by the Jets today as Chris Conner was sent down. Thornton will spend the rest of the year with the Jets as management wants to see what he can bring to the table. Johan Hedberg was good and has been since arriving from the Laffs. Nice to Allison continue his strong play.

Stupid Blues

The Hawks new motto, *if you can't beat 'em, at least beat 'em up* seems to be working. Yesterday we took out a Wild, and today Sid is gone for 3 weeks! Might as well trade the guy Rob . The Hawks at least have Ales Kotalik to protect him LOL

Has the magic worn off Sean Burke? Is he letting Ryan Miller take the # spot in net for the Hawks? I think closed door meeting with the GM to probe Burkes thoughts might be in order after his last 3 dismal games.
