Default Live Blues/Music in Calgary?

Pretty simple question...talking to some people at work, and we were trying to figure out a place to catch some blues in town, since we're tired of listening to the same stuff at every pub

Maybe to add to the question, a good place to catch good live music in general? I know Ceilis has cover bands playing on the weekends. Anything else?

I've not been there myself yet but doesn't that "Bar Named Sue" joint have good live music?

Is the King Eddy in Inglewood still open? I think it might have closed. I know one of my old English profs at U of C was a regular there for the blues acts.

This place does seem to be closed, but it certainly was the home to the Blues in Calgary.

A little OT...but if any of you blues lovers come out to Toronto you have to check out Healey's RoadHouse....the club Jeff Healy owns and operates. He plays with his blues band on Thursdays and his Jazz band Saturdays....both amazing. He also has a new special guest(s) playing with him every show.

Ah yes - Kaos was great...is it still open in the basement of Quincy's (17th Ave location is now the Yardhouse)?

Calf -- Have you been to the Shamrock?? I go there all the time, it's not too sleezy and damn if the music there isn't the best in town. The house band is pretty good but they always have acts there almost every weekend... I dont even check to see who's playing anymore. Sunny Rhodes was there not too long ago it was great.
