Blues beat up on the Hawks once again by the score of 5-1. Goal scorers for the Blues were Ovechkin, Sid, Matvichuk, Armstrong and Daigle with the game winner. Hossa had the lone Hawks goal with 7 minutes to go to break the shutout. Hasek faced 30 shots and put aside 29 of them to bring his record to 26-18-2.

With the falling Stars and the struggling Jackets, the Blues now sit only 2 points out of the last playoff spot. The Blues will have some big games coming up as they face the Stars, Jackets and Coyotes in the upcoming weeks. It's stretch time, and time to play some strong hockey. Go Blues GO!

Hedberg Haunts Laffs!

Johan Hedberg made 29 saves vs his former team tonight as the Jets beat the Leafs 3-1.

Mike Ribeiro had a great game picking up 3 points, a goal and 2 assists. The Jets also got goals from Chris Conner, his second, and Jason Allison's 16th of the year. Sami Kapanen lead all Jets in ice time logging 28 minutes.

By George! I think ive found some chemistry!

For real though, Nedved was injured and then missed 2 weeks. back for one game and got hurt for A month, comes back today and is injured again. What gives G? But the Wings have now won 4 straight games and has the fans all excited. There is even talk of winning these last 25 games and squeaking into the playoffs.

So the Panthers won the game but who cares. They are now within one point of the red hot Canadiens but that is the last thing on GM Penney's mind. The rel story began at 9:16 of the first period. Mr. Dick was leading his troops down the ice when GM Flambers yelled out "small". Mr. Dick not knowing what was going on decided to look over, knowing that he surely couldn't be refering to him. As he looked, Mr. Dick took a spear to the groin by Frankenstein that took him out of the game.

Left in a massive heap on the ice, Mr. Dick was motionless for several minutes before being carried off on a stretcher.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Dick during this tough time.

Since aquiring Mr. Dick and giving him an opportunity of a lifetime to play for such a cool team, Mr. Dick has stepped up his game. He will be greatly missed while he recovers.

The Devils win another ... Jose Theodore named first star after an impressive 2-1 triumph over the Hurricanes. Should have traded for my pick back a lot sooner!

Yes Martin, it is true. It is going to be arough couple of games without Mr. Dick so expect for all the teams below us to catch up and probably pass, I don't see how we can win without the Dick.

Nothing like a nice facial using some special massage balls to ease the pain of losing Dick.
