Tips for Miami / South Beach

Heading south tomorrow for a cruise and we are spending a couple of days in Miami.

The boat show is on when we are there so I will be hitting that for sure.

Any tips on things to see places to go.

Eat breakfast at the News Cafe (right on the beach, close to where Liberaci use to live). Best breakfast I've ever had.

don't know if you're familiar with Bill Simmons the Sports Guy, he does ESPN columns and had a whole weeks worth on Miami Beach and the Superbowl, take a look at some of those articles. They're listed under Page 2 at ESPN.

You'll enjoy the boat show...for me that would take up about the whole day!

Theres lots to do in Miami....depending on what your into..? I don't know a ton about the place though, when i lived in FL I spent most of my time in Ft. Launderdale as the drive to Miami was a bit too far. (From West Palm Beach)

Will you be renting a car or relying on public transit?
