Default On the road again - done after 20 years

Not sure if anyone ever watched this show, heck I don't think I had watched an episode since I was in grade 8 way back in 1993! CBC announced that the 20 years running show: 'On the road again - with Wayne Rostad' was coming to an end.

I watched the last episode tonight, and almost wished I'd seen more of this show. This show is about as Canadiana as it gets. Great stories about interesting people in this country.

my friend's uncle was on that, lillooet's sheep pasture golf course.

was the only episode i ever saw, probably 1990 or so...

if you hit a sheep and kill it you have to buy it. big savings on lawn mowing but sheep crap everywhere. very unique course...

I liked that show. I hadn't seen it in years and had just assumed it was already off the air.

I met the host a few years back and man - is that one big dude. Nice guy though. Great show too.

Can't say it's part of my regular viewing but my Grandpa and his apple orchard were featured on there once.

Too bad...never caught it regularly, but it was sometimes an interesting show...

That was a family favourite in our household for a couple of years. Kitchy CBC-crafted Canadiana. I doubt I could get through a whole episode now.
