So Jack's brother is the bad guy that was working with Logan last season.

Thoughts?

I was wondering if they were going to tie that up. I really wanted to know who the mysterious bald guy was...now we know.

I was watching season 1 earlier and most of yesterday and I noticed how the show has become more intense and action packed in the later seasons.

If you watch one of the episodes on disc 3, you can see Milo eating a bagel. I thought that was kind of neat. They even used washrooms in that season. You don't see that kind of stuff now.

One thing that bugged me was 17+ names on that list, and Bauer's dad is the only one they check out?

And the long look between Jack, his brother's son, and his brother's wife was a couple seconds longer. Who wants to bet that Jack's his dad, especially after the foreshadowing with the wife and Jack's brother mentioning there was an issue with Jack and her before they got married?

Regardless, Jack obviously knows this guy's a slimeball, without knowing he was behind the President last season..I have to recall some of that season, but a lot of time was spent by Jack's bother in trying to eliminate Jack last year.

Next up, who do you think's the Austrailan recruited to re-jig the nuclear detonators? My guess is someone else from a previous season, or, in CTU right now......

I think that Austrailan was Jacks father, but Assad could be one of those twists where Curtis was killed for nothing and he helps them re-jig those neclear detonators.

Yeah, I just assumed that was Jack's father too.

No, you obviously saw the Ch 7 version, where they don't show next week's clips like they do on the US feeds (early, or HD) at the end.

Jack's father shows up in those clips, and its not the Aussie.

Scenes from next week showed that this guy is his father.(at least it looked like this guy) But it could be a 24 twist.

But how else will we know that news is coming up after 24? I mean the 20 times that they do it through out the show obviously isn't enough

I love 24 but last nights episode didn't have much action in it at all. Besides the twist of that dude being his brother not much happened.

The Aussie(?) guy who Fayed contacted was not named Phillip, or at least the blonde who got in the car with him called him something else. So he most certianly is not Jack's dad. My wife also picked up that the kid is probably Jacks as well.

Whats with 24 and getting old Star Trek actors now? James Cromwell played Dr. Zefram Cochrane in First contact.
