Default Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Originally a novel by Patrick Suskind, it has been released in movie-form. It is about a man who has an incredible sense of smell, but no other senses, and goes around killing people because he is fascinated with the smell of death.

Except, that for some strange reason it is not in any theatre in Calgary. A quick google search shows they have shows playing in Vancouver, and Montreal and other Canadian cities, but not Calgary.

Post your comments and outrage here.

I read the novel a couple years back. It was good. It's the book that insipired the Nirvana song "Scentless Apprentice" incase anyone was interested.

Fantastic novel! Not sure how it will look on the big screen though.

The previews looked different but an interesting storyline. I was somewhat interested to see it until the dreded reviews came in which gave it 1 star outta 5. Normally I don't trust critics' reviews, but when it gets 1 star, something has to be wrong. They did say the guys performance was good though (which probably earned 1/2 a star), and it also said how it was nothing compared to the novel.
