Never heard of Richard Kuklinski? Well, be warned, it's not for the faint of heart.

Part 1

Part 2

I watched this program when it was on a couple nights ago.

One of the most facinating interviews i have ever seen in my life.

My favorite part, is when he talks about killing that guy in the club with the hypodermic needle, and he had to dress up like a gay guy and was talking about how he looked so flaming.. and went on to say "I don't want to offend gay people"

I got a good chuckle out of that. You're sitting here, talking about how you killed a man in a nightclub, and you're worried you might offend some gay people when talking about it?

Anyway, I highly suggest people watch this if they can find the time. Brilliant.

PS:

Really poor choice to have the mic's so sensative when he's chomping on gum. If you're like me, it will drive you crazy all the mouth and saliva noises.

This looks very informative and usually real life crime is usually much more interesting then anything movies and tv shows could come up with.

I watched it a while ago. The guy scares the **** out of me because he seems like a guy you could joke around with and say anything to and not worry about him getting offended but really if you ****ed him off enough he would act like it was a joke but you would be lucky to last the rest of the day.

He actually died in March of unknown causes.

I saw a bit of the show. The guy was really cold. It didn't matter if he maybe liked you, if you were in his way, he'd take you out. I knew a guy l like that once. Interesting fellow but no conscious and one smart to avoid.

"Murder Inc, the story of the Syndicate" is a very interesting read if you can find it. Some amazing psycopaths . . . .

http://www.amazon.com/Murder-Inc-Syn.../dp/0306804751

Some other reading on that period:

"We only killed our own," was a mantra the hitmen went by . . . .

There is a great illustrated companion book to a PBS documentary on organized crime of about 10 years ago out there, if you can find it.

I seen this documentary years back. He seemed like a personable guy, but damn, if he took something the wrong way you were dead. I remember when he died last year his wife and "kids" were on Larry King, and you could really tell they were terrified of the guy (and his daughter seemed to have a strong resemblence to him). His gay comment really stuck out considering who he was, but when you think about it, perhaps he didn't want any complications in jail stemming from his comments.
