Avs finally get back on track with a 4-2 win over the Wings. Huet returns to his old form and Leclair nets two. Overall good effort by the Avs. Now, can they string a few together?

A good result by the Kings who are extremly comfortable on the road. The club looks forward to more road games and a well deserved day off.

Gerber looks strong between the pipes and is making a very strong case to be the #1 goalie in town. Spezza buries his 29th and we beat the Flames 4-2. Solid effort from everyone. Big game tommorow against the Avs.

Nice to get the win...but our PK and PP are disastrous. Yikes! Oh! And All-star Rory Fitzpatrick scored...YOU KNOW YOU WANT HIM!

Hawks and Bruins skated tonight. Not a lot of the usual thuggery at typical Hawks games. Tonight only 3 penalties for each team. A fast paced, up and down, high scoring game. Good thing the teams didn't commit more penalties, as 5 of the goals came from special teams, including Patrick Sharps short handed tally in overtime.

Robert Esche has been pretty good for me so far. Was it worth Staal? Probably not, but what can you do......

Detroit has just one win now in the past 20 games. May I ask WTF is going on? I mean sooner or later even the frickin Sharks win a game.

The Panthers would once again like to thank GM Young Guns for giving them his 1st round pick in the draft. Greatly appreciated!

Howl!

Yotes stop mini-slide with 6-2 victory over the Flyers. In an effort to find the right chemestry GM Drunk mixed-up his lines. Well it worked for Alexei Ponikarovsky as he had a hat trick and an assist for 4 points. Jagr had 2 goals as well.

The Coyote powerplay was very potent as it went 4 for 7.

Game Stars
1 - Alexei Ponikarovsky (COY)
2 - Jaromir Jagr (COY)
3 - Mats Sundin (COY)

The Yotes fly off to Ottawa to matchup againts the Sens tonight.

Pens 4 Flames 2

No surprise really in this game as the young Flames went down to the very strong Penquins. Damn that just sounds wierd.
We did keep the SOG to a minimum for both sides. SOG were 24-23 in favour of the Flames.
If we had some fire power, I think we coulda squeaked this one out.
Good on the Pens.
