Calgary Puck Golf Tourney
Has anyone ever considered putting together a little CP Golf tournament? Usually for about 100-120/ head you can put together something pretty decent at a nice course.
If it was put together, who all would be in?
And what would be your ceiling on price?
Would there be any volunteers to organize?
Do you think you could get your company to donate something for a prize pool?
How about a charity component built in?

I'd be in for something like this. D'arcy Ranch will allow for group bookings. Same with Kananaskis. Malcolmk might be able to offer some advice here as well.

I've got 20 people going in June, at $80/player with cart. We'd have to book soon though.

On Monday we should decide and start bookings. If anyone is in or out, let me know through PM. I'll handle bookings and costs should be $100 max.

We should obviously get Bingo's blessing to use the website name.
Are we gonna do a tourney package? Like a round, steak and a pint sorta thing, or just do a gorup booking and figure it out from there?
Payment? Usually they want tourneys paid up front. So you would have to call the pro shop of the course and pay right away.
Day of the week? I think Sunday works best usually.
Also, I didn't mean to start this thread in FOI, can a mod move it to OT?

By the way, my one suggestion would be not to do any of that silly best ball or texas scramble crap.

I definitely won't use CP without Bingo's blessing (even if it's at D'arcy Ranch )
I will report back by Monday if we can get more than just a round of golf for $100. Burger and a beer would be nice as well.
Payment is a bit tough, but we would have to trust people. Hopefully there are other options with a cancellation deadline. Don't show and we'll goon squad your home?
