It's rigged. no matter how quickly you react its going to tell you it wasn't fast enough which kind of distracts you from their point, and towards how lame they are for inventing such a crappy "game".

It's not rigged. the point is to give you some tidbits to help you think about what you are doing. ie how far you travel in 1 second, and how much you already have to distract you without drinking coffee, calling people etc.

Well for instance I tried the game a second time and on the coffee cup level I was prepared for what corner the little girl with the ball was in, as soon as she came onto the screen I hit the spacebar, so my reaction time would have been better than if I had just been casually driving without distractions and yet right after the lady say's "better get ready to fill out the accident report"???

Wow, you're missing the point.
Congrats, you beat the game, you didn't hit the little girl on the second try. Too bad practicing, and for that matter doing well, are completly beside the point.

How so you spell propaganda?
Insurance Bureau of Canada.

This is total bull****.
Not the game itself (although I do echo others' sentiments), but the fact that this lame drum beat won't go away! I closed the window half an hour ago...this is annoying.

I thought it was ok, why is everyone complaining?
The "point" is not an actual game....its to get you thinking about the distractions in real life driving.
Or am I missing something?
(and its not rigged to my knowledge, I did just fine...).

Am I missing something or is it supposed to tell you if your reaction time is good or not? I didn't hit anything and despite an apparent slower reaction for the stop sign (I waited till I was closer to hit the breaks), even that was well under 2 seconds.
I kind of thought it would tell me if my reaction time would have resulted in an accident. I suppose that would reinforce my bad habits though if I knew I could react in the game?

I think that if they want to educate people on driving and distractions they should at least make the car drive in one lane only rather than straddling the center line...

That's they way I looked at the game too. An eye opener for me.

I get what they are trying to say, but it's a poor 'sim' or game or lesson. Passed all the tests pretty easy, if anything it showed me how quick my reaction time is and how observant I am at multitasking.

Very inaccurate. You know the distraction is coming so you just watch for it while slowing opening your coffee cup or whatever.
My reaction time was also extremely slow because I saw the car, and thought that it would go by me before I got to the intersection. And I stopped very very close to the stop sign instead of 100 meters back.
Nice find anyways =)
