I was reading an article on the 18 soldiers that refused to do convoy duty and read something that caught my eye.
"In (Brig. Gen. James E.) Jim Chambers' opinion, the most dangerous job in Iraq is driving a truck," he said. Soldiers take their missions realizing "it's not if, but
when, they will be attacked."
Not a matter if, but when they will be attacked. How can anyone honestly say they are happy with the progress in Iraq when trucks are pretty well guaranteed of being attacked?
Iraq is NOT a dangerous place
