4 ties today, too bad HD didnt' like me always betting on him to win so he changed Drunkline betting. Not enough, the firesale is already underway in Columbus.

Wow that mean Drew has his team go for the two point convert in the AHL game just to get a 17 point lead.

LMAO - nice job Martin B...but, boys, 0 for 10 on the powerplay? Ajme meni!

The marshmallow responds after the coach and GM call him out on his poor play thus far in the season. Good job.

Pascal Leclaire kept this game from being really ugly. Ribeiro and Kapanen both added points.

Will take the 1 point but thought we could have gotten 2 with the play tonight. Have a day off now before we face the Sabres.

Sergei Shirokov 8 (Kirill Tulupov, Kirill Tulupov)

Tulupov is so amazing, he cloned himself, passed the puck to the clone than to Shirokov and the rest is history

Wade Belak scored on his first shift as a Canadien. Some how Belak ended up on the ice, on the powerplay no less. Coach Gainey was not impressed despite the end result. Belak was trying to keep his legs loose during a TV timeout and went for a quick skate. The referee put his hand up, and Belak was forces to stay on the ice for the face off. Reinprecht won the draw back to Tverdovsky. Tverdovsky's shot bounced off Belak's behind and beat Broduer.
Belak was rewarded for his blunder by sitting on the bench the remainder of the game. "The biggest reason was that he made a mistake, we need all our players to be alert at all times. Today it turned out well, but most times the result of a mistake is costly. Especially against top teams." replied Coach Gainey at the end of the game.
All in all the game lived up to its billing as the 2nd and 3rd placed teams faced off against each other. Brodeur (25 saves) and Vokoun (31 saves) dominated the game.

Good effort by the Isles for the victory but two injuries to two key players will make the next stretch of games a real challenge.

Wow 2 games in the post Kovalev era and we have scored 19 goals so far an allowed 2.

Again some big nights for a few Senators.
Kozlov was the games first star. scoring once and assisting on 3 others for a 4 point game. he was also a solid +4 on the night.

Joe Thornton scores 2 and assists on 1 more for a 3 point night.

Jordon Staal scores the first goal of his CPHL career as well.

for team that has only scored 106 goals prior to these 2 games this is huge..

Big games for the Hurricanes, after the huge run by the ‘Canes we’ve fallen to a 1-5 with letting in an un characteristic 5+ goals against average. The Hurricanes were able to out shoot, out hustle, outplay the Winnipeg Jets as the home town Hurricanes recorded a 4-1 victory.

Game Stars
1 - Anson Carter (HUR)
2 - David Legwand (HUR)
3 - Jeff Friesen (HUR)

see if we can get a flow and start winning again
