Sweet, this is what i've been waiting for.

Its actually been in the works for a while now. I just recently left LG as an employee and it has been talked about for a long time. The thinking there was, why miss the opportunity to miss out on any business. LG is large enough (one of the largest companies in the world) and thus can afford to go such route.

Cool, I think it's a really great idea. Best of both worlds.

From reading that article, it looks like there is pretty big split as far as which studios use which format. I'll buy one.

I think this is awful news.

This means that both formats will carry on and that combo discs will likely end up costing between $40-$50.

I wish they'd just decide a victor and get on with themselves.
