The Airing of Grievances
Stole this idea from somewhere else, but it seemed funny and its based on my favourite episode of Seinfeld, so.....have at it. What are they? Can be anything from family to work to movies, let 'er rip!
Mine;
The NHL. SCREW YOU NHL! Thank you for ruining the greatest sport in the world by trying to force feed it to people who have proven time and agin THEY DON'T WANT TO WATCH IT! Take your shootout-penalty-for-everything-non-hitting-non-fighting-sack-of-monkey-crap-game and shove it up your arse!
And Paris Hilton. Just die you useless waste of skin.

People who whine about the NHL, sorry Frank, I don't mean to single you out, I know you are not alone, but god damn, every other day, there is another problem with the NHL. The game is fine, boring at times, entertaining at times. Look back 6-7 years ago and tell me that was good hockey.
Beyonce Knowles....I hate you
Canuck fans, when i think of you, I want to throw up

Well there is a lot more I hate about it than I listed. I'd use the whole page if I listed everything. It truly does suck. Like last night. 11 goals and that was a game of complete and utter crap.

Welcome, newcomers. The tradition of Festivus begins with the airing of grievances. I got a lot of problems with you people! And now you're gonna hear about it!

a big grievance of mine is that frank costanza is no longer on teleivison.
yes i know, jerry stiller still is but the essence is watered down.
fans of scholck will recognize ben AND jerry stiller in a great old stinker called 'highway to hell'. also had christy swanson, gilbert godfreys, stinker king patrick bergen, and some guy named chad lowe that looks a lot like rob (brother i'm sure).
which brings me to another grievance. i need DVD releases of highway to hell, hardware (lemy AND iggy pop in the same movie!!!), the trancer movies, and many more. no fancy limited editions, just the devil-mart-style cheapos please.
FESTIVUS!

I have a grievance with people that cross streets downtown when the red hand starts flashing.
People - that had is flashing to tell you NOT to start across the intersection. But ignoring it you are not allowing traffic to flow through downtown as it should and backing things up more.
WAIT THE EXTRA 90 SECONDS FOR THE NEXT TIME YOU CAN CROSS

good call, Jiri. I want to run 'em down when they do that.
I hate people who can't drive in adverse conditions. You're a road hazard if you're in a 60km zone doing 25km/h. Get a bus pass.

How about this: you in your warm car can wait the extra 4 seconds for me to get to the other side of it while I, freezing my ass off outside because I WALK and don't pollute and get excercise, cross the street to get to my destination more quickly? It's 4 seconds. Shut up. Besides, the hand has stopped flashing usually well before the light turns red anyways. You can use that time to your advantage. I, as a pedestrian, certainly cannot.

The hand does indeed stop flashing well before the light turns red - but that is because cars turning right need to have time to get through that intersection so that traffic flows through the downtown core.
And it's not 4 seconds, the cumulative affect on rush hour traffic is huge. Some days I'll be back 10 cars from an intersection and only 1 vehicle will be able to go through on a green. Now take that an mulitply it acorss the entire downtown and you can understand the effect it is having.
Walk when its says walk
Don't when it doesn't.

as long as you've started walking before the hand flashes, good for you, go ahead and cross. People that start after the flash should be fair game.

I hate people trashin Darren McCarty. I've met the guy and he's been decent to me. Sure he's had his issues, but that just proves to me that he's human just like the rest of us. Some people need to realize that just because someone plays hockey, doesn't mean they should be infailable.
I hate people who bitch and whine about every move the team makes. We could have a team of all stars and be undefeated and people would have issues with it. It's just a game people, stop taking it so damn seriously

People who see all reporters/comentators/referees as anti-Flames. C'mon, sure everyone has a bias but if you really believe these professionals are rooting against the Flames just because they aren't ridiculously pro-Flames then you are in for a lot of angst.

To the young punk in his rice rocket who thought the Deerfoot was the Indy 500. Last week you decided to do a California lane change nearly taking off the front end of my vehicle and the one beside me simply because you needed to exit off onto 16th ave at the last minute.
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits!

Pants. The world would be a better place without them.
People who only wish others a Merry Christmas. I always wish a Happy Holidays. I want people to enjoy Christmas Eve, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, NY Day, and above all else... Festivus.
People who think they can do a bang on Christopher Walken impression. If your name isn't Kevin Pollak, you can't.
HyPATHETIC Trade threads. If I were a MOD, I'd banish the heck out of people who post these.
CM Punk, why do you have to be so angry all the time.
I'll think of more...

try being a Habs fan. It's a lot uglier. They're 2nd in the Eastern conference and their fans are still bitching. Give it a rest. Larry Robinson talked about it in his biography. The summer after the unprecedented 76/77 season, where they ran the table, losing only 8 games the whole regular season (only 1 at home) people came up to him on the street asking "why did you lose 8?" Gimme a break.

my sis drove in from Invermere yesterday afternoon. Some clown was on the highway, it's snowing, riding a motorcycle with a sidecar. Think that extra wheel is going to save you? Talk about crazy...

Those who do not know the difference between merging and yielding. The signs look completely different...not too hard to confuse them.
Shoppers who thinking everything is on sale because it is Boxing Week. Would you like my kidney for free, too?
