For a 30+ year old AHL'r it should be. Worth the risk IMO for the Sharks.

You're the one that referred to a 30 year old AHLer.

You're offer was Polushin for Mark Hartigan - who is a 70 OVR 28 year forward. Is he great no? But he's an asset. Polushin is not.

Polushin is a longshot prospect at best who unless something dramtically changes will stay in Russia.

Why would the Sharks want that type of deal? Why would we want a roster spot taken up by a prospect with lmited upside and virtually no chance at playing in the NHL?

Why wouldn't you make a counter offer to try and work something out? You have reminding us that the Sharks have playes available so I took a look, picked out a 70OV AHL guy, and made an offer. I didn't get a counter offer or anything back.

How come?

I don't really need/want Hartigan but was willing to talk trade for him becuase that is what you want.

Mark Hartigan! It's not like he is a superstar like Jordan Staal or anything.

That's fine, my beef was that if you are going to post on the message board that we are asking too much for our players I am going to clarify what the actual trade discussion involved.
