Beginning Monday, hundreds and thousands of disaffected university and college students have finals. Let's bitch.
I've got...
ECON 301: 3:30pm Friday
ECON 325: 7pm Friday
STAT 213: 8am Saturday
Feel my pain. First one's the worst one.

Try holding down a job. Then you'll be dealing with stress about things that MATTER!
(Just kidding. Exams can be tough if you have been making the "most" of your university experience. But just wait till you are responsible for a 7 figure contract and you only have 6 hours to get the product out the door. Your first year Stats exam will be a party at the beach in hindsight).

3 finals in 2 days sounds like sweet deal to me! Try having 6 finals in 5 days...or 6 in 10 days. I love when they stretch it out to the very last day at least you'll be done early with time to do whatever you do...

Who is your 301 prof?? I had Church, the hardest class I ever took at the uni.. I got a good mark in it, but ony because his assignments were hell (30 + hours each)...
Monday I have Econ 355
Wednesday - Econ 527 & Econ 431
Saturday - Econ 349
Monday - Econ 341..
Thats a lot econ.. blech.. Oh well, no more classes for me assuming all goes well.....

I now GIVE exams rather than take them--but for the first time EVER, both my exams are on the first day of Finals week. I love it! For me, the semester ends Dec. 11th. Time to celebrate the repeal of prohibition some more!

Ha, sweet. ARe you doing your Masters or Phd?
Masters for me, I had one final course to do this term - last assignment was due in on the 4th of Dec. Yay. Other than that, its just my research....
..well not quite. Its final paper marking time for the class I TA, although I only have about 10 or so to do. First time marking papers, yippee for me!! And those poor, poor suckers in the class...

Hist 340 on Fri
...that is all(my other two classes were Edu courses which had a final project instead of a final)

Anyone ever take math 1205 (at mrc) or math 205 (at UofC) before? I found out that I have to take a math class, and this is one that was reccemended for me as I don't like math. It is always hard for one find out what a class is about from reading the little descriptions about them.

PhD. Which I think just makes me a giant sucker.
One piece of advice from a veteran of the grading wars..... Grading is WAY more fun if you're drinking! (all you undergrads in the thread forget I said that, OK?)

my best final week ever. only 3 (instead of my usual 5 or 6)
Dec 12 - Soil Mechanics and Foundations Engineering
Dec 14 - Theory of Structures
Dec 19 - Reinforced Concrete Design
nice and spread out. of course I probably will procrastinate until the 11th and then be stressed out anyways. e.g. tonight I'm going to get drunk.

I've already had 3/4. Exam period started on the 4th for us.
Advanced Calc: Thought I was going to fail, exam actually went pretty well.
Extragalactic Astrophysics: Everybody was whining but I thought it wasn't bad at all.
Classical Mechanics: Hardly studied for this and it showed. Test ripped me up pretty good. I still probably got about the class average, which I'm fine with.
Thermodynamics: This one is next Thursday, I basically have to learn 1/2 the course because I stopped going to class. Should be fine though.
