The Muppet christmas carol with Michael Caine as scrooge was a classic. The original Grinch who stole christmas and not the uber crappy Jim Carrey version is a tradition around the Crunch household. You can't forget the Charlie Brown Christmas, or Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer in all of its stop motion glory.

When I was growing up I often looked forward to "A Yogi Bear Xmas" for some reason. Caught it a few years back on a lazy Sunday afternoon - its really not that good.

Loved the late 50's animated Frosty the Snowman.
That one is now a yearly tradition for my own kids. We found it on DVD, I think they still play it on regular tv as the big day gets closer.

I like how Burl Ives is always calling Mike Richards:
Silver and Gold, Silver and Gold . . .
Have a Holly Jolly Christmas . . .

Friday, CBS is airing Rudolph remastered in HD.
I think they did it last year too, but this is my first Christmas with HD, so I have to check it out.
God bless HD, everyone.

Garfield's Christmas is a classic at my house. I also saw a He-Man & She-Ra Christmas special in stores the other day, might check that one out

That was funny, but my favourite part has to be when he goes on his rant about his boss. Hilarity! I always have to watch that movie several times around Christmas, always gets me in the spirit.
My favourite cartoons would be either Charlie Browns Christmas or Frosty.

Actually the one on TV was made in 1969. (The one with Jimmy Durante as the storyteller)

Hmm. I watched it with the kids the other night and could have sworn that I saw a copyright date of 1958 or something.
Regardless, still a classic.
