Last minute fantasy football advice
Any strong opinions?
In my money league I need to win today to hang on to my playoff spot. I have a choice between Matt Leinart and Jeff Garcia.
Leinart is at home against Seattle
Garcia is at Washington
I'm leaning toward Garcia, but Leinart has played very well the last couple of weeks.
Thoughts?

I think Leinart is the safer play, he should get you a decent amount of points.
Garcia is more likely to explode for a ton of points though. He's also more likely to have a terrible game.

Gee thanks
LOL.
I guess the question becomes do I need a safe play or an explosion?
Hmm.
Anyone else?

lol well I guess it depends on how you feel about your matchups and how your opponent's match-ups look like.
If you think you are the favorite to win, just start Leinart. If you need a miracle, go with Garcia.

I think you're right. I just put Leinart back in.
I think I have a slight edge in the matchup.
Garcia will be a nice option for the playoffs though.
Also, I have Boldin in on WR slot...so that is doubling pts on a lot of plays.
The thing that scares me is my opponent has Favre this week. The 49ers are porous!

I would pick Garcia. I like him over Leinart just because of who they are playing. They (Sunday Countdown) were talking about Garcia probably having a big game against the Skins, where as Leinart is up against a much better Seahawk defence.

That's a pretty good site. I use it weekly and it has been pretty accurate for me. Obviously you would still use some of your own ideas, but if you're really stuck it might help.

Double points can also be a negative if a team flops.
I'm going with Garcia.
Thanks for the input guys. Wish me luck!
Woops. Didn't get the change made in time. Looks like it's Leinart after all!
LMAO.

Yep, just over 20 points in my league so far.
Leinart should get that too, but too much more and I will regret not making the switch sooner.
I am up 25 points right now though. We both have 4 players left after the early games conclude.

Jeff Garcia 23.0 pts.

So you picked the correct one.

Yeah, sorta.
If you look back in the thread you will see the evidence that I was trying desperately to get Leinart out and Garcia in.
It's just funny that they ended up only .2 points apart.
Cutler is my other QB and I didn't even consider him obviously. But he had 20.9 so he was right there too.
I've got a precarious lead. 94.5 to 70.4
I have Desmond Clark tomorrow night
He has Deuce McAllister tonight and Jeff Wilkins tomorrow.
Gonna be close.

I think you should have it. Deuce had what, about 120 yards? I don't know how your league scores points, but in mine thats 12 points.
Tonight I also celebrate a trip to the playoffs. 12-2 record. Damn, fantasy football is too much fun.

94.5 to 87.5 now
Really just need a few catches for Desmond Clark to lock it up.
Still, a little too close for comfort.
