Yay Xbox 360...Not!
On x-mas day i was one happy go-lucky kid , i had just recieved my new Xbox 360 system .
A day later i was not so happy , my friend had gotten me NHL 07 , we played for a little while than the game froze.
So i shut the system down ! figuring that it would help, but it didnt.
It poped up with the following message " please put game into an xbox 360 consol" um wait a second i just did.!
So i returned the next day and got a replacment the same message came up
!
pleasse help me. tell me whats wrong. (note it doesnt do this with any other game. )

It's probably not the system, then, if you've already replaced it. I'd say it's the disk. Get your friend to exchange it, I say, or do it yourself if you have the gift receipt.

Poor *******s... I've honest to god not had the system freeze on me once in the 7 months i've had it.
I hope you bought a product replacement plan.

Its never froze during a faceoff lag online nhl07? wow. Mine does all the time.

That was a good deal..almost picked one up myself, was in store looking at it..and then walked away. Probably a good decision for now, I can hold off for a bit.

Ya o well $hit happens. I think it is just the game because my other games seem to be working.
Im going to return the game tommorow and that one doesnt work bill gates might wan to sleep with one eye open at night

Me too...had it in my hands and just decided to walk away. After all these reports of dead X360's, the only way I buy one is if it's from Costco. I suspect these Boxing day sales will become the new discount price in spring so I'm not in that much of a hurry.
Now if only PS3 would get some more game titles going, maybe they'd give X360 a run for their money!

That's not the system though, that's EA killing the game session because it's a wierd lag error, when this happens it doesn't effect your DNF% and no result is given.
It's not necessarily the system itself.
