how aboot radio station hate?
i just can't hate nickelback. they're - they're a band i'd watch at a bar and not walk out on.
IF i hadn't been bombarded on the way to the bar by an aural radio assault of nickelcreed / nickelback.

indeed, and I really can't resist.
Nickleback is one of the worst formula rock bands ever.
pick 4 different chords
insert lyrics about fighting, sex, drinking, etc.
repeat

I really dug this video.
This video's message is one that needs to heard these days. Everyone is wondering what's wrong twith the world, and why nobody is stepping up to change it, when infact, it's only up to us to do so.
I digs it, yo. Good stuff by Nickelback to try and promote a change.

like/dislike for Nickelback aside
I like the video, I think that it's done well and gets the message of positive change across.
HOWEVER
I liked the video better as "Right Now" by Van Halen (which after my dog died I can't sit through without crying)
I also liked Garth Brooks' "The Dance" better.

I'm really neutral on Nickelback's music; don't like it, don't hate it. That being said, I liked that video. It's cliched and it's been done before, but at least it's trying to promote a good message to the mainstream. The world could use more people trying to promote that message rather than the garbage that we see today.

decent video but the song itself isn't anything special..kind of like Nickleback themselves.

i really liked this video......it gets to you...sends a message to everyone. pretty powerful.
i used to not be a fan of nickelback when i lived in canada cuz they always played it up there due to canadian content laws, but then i found myself turning up the volume when i moved here and they played a nickelback song (which RARELY happens).

Hate it. Looks like ass kissing to get popularity.
Ok, now that I've got that out of the way, time to make Nickleback sucks jokes...
Found the messages weak.

I bet "Beaches of Chyenne" would be a good one. The one song that I actually listen to the words.

I am pretty much in the same boat when it comes to Nickelback.
As for the song, I don't really like it. I do like what they are trying to do with the video, but I can't help but think they are merely doing it to present themselves as band with more substance, instead of a band that just sings about booze and parties and such.

Yeah. Like like i said earlier, the video itself seems kind of cliched. It seems like a forced effort. That said, I applaud them for trying to put out something that has a positive message. It beats the snot out of 99% of what mainstream music is presenting right now (the message, not the actual music...)
A good friend of mine is practically best friends with Chad Kroeger. I know the guy gets a lot of hate in the media and on messageboards, but I've had the chance to meet him a couple of times and actually have a conversation of substance with him. He's actually a pretty bright guy (although i know that doesn't show in the media)
