Let me just say as someone who absolutely doesn't care either way, Kringle does look like he is pointing up. I'll bet anything that those who complained the most vehemently defend the right to free speech when it comes to insulting everyone else.

Why even bother, unless your purpose is to incite anger to promote your product...

Sorry for going off topic, but I was just having a discusion about the same sort of thing with the movie Death of a President.
I'm guessing the same applies to the people who have banned showing that in the US. Wonder how they felt about those cartoons?

Theatre owners have a right to ban movies they don't want to show.

Freedom of Speech gives you the right to speak out against that action.

Yeah, but supressing things that obviously have nothing to do with Nazism is quite ridiculous.

I believe that a bigger concern for Germany should be the Neo-Nazis and the constant attacks on minorities, including murder.

People like to denounce anything protecting the minorities as being PC. Most of the time I would respond that, as a society, we need to enforce political corectness because some people haven't been raised to respect others. Things like this, however, make me understand the other side of the argument a little better.
