This ****es me off actually.. I've contacted the guy because i'd love to make a Kipper website, he will not sell it to me. Also in the mean time he has no problem advertising his own web hosting/design company.
Seems like he's using the name as a way to make money for himself by advertising to fans who want to make something worthwhile for the site.

Did you follow the link I posted?
THe guy says he will hand it over to Kiprusoff or his agent at no charge.
Please use the URL I provided in my post not the quoted one in the title.
Edit: BTW where is he getting ad revenue from that link?
If the man wants to hand it over to Kiprusoff for no charge, and will not sell it to anyone else, I say good on him.

Self advertising, and when I emailed him I got the same spiel... While I think he would give it to Kipper, or his agent... I find nothing honorable about how he's leaving it stagnant, while advertising his own services.

He should turn it into something....at least in the mean while...and if Kipper and/or agent want it then hand it over...but why just have nothing on a page?

Considering Kipper didnt even want to go the NHL awards knowing he had won two of them, or even bother to go and retrieve them afterwards tells me he is not the kind of guy that would back his own website, or have one made on his behalf.

Honestly why would he care? If he wanted his own website he would have persued that already...i dont think wanting to save the $50 bucks or whatever and not having to register the domain is whats standing in his way.

Yeah exactly... which is why this guy ****es me right off. Kipper himself probably doesn't care about having his own website, but as a fan. It'd be a honor to make this site, with information, wallpapers, ect. There are a legion of fans that no doubt would like the same.
It's a complete waste sitting there.

That's true, I wouldn't trust a stranger either, because there are alot of people who'll buy it and go to domain sponsor and make money off of it.
But my intentions are genuine, more genuine than him "holding the site" while advertising his own services at the same time, He's a slime ball, as I said I contacted him before and the email was full of self advertising.
Nobody here is saying that he wouldn't give it to Kipper or his agent... but it's been up there since 2004. If Kipper wanted to make his own official site, you know full well that Mr. Linstrom would be pushing his services to make $$$ to develop the site, when you've got fans who are in the business who would do it for the sake of being a huge fan... Hell I named my new Kitten "Miikka" 
I wouldn't say his intentions are good at all... He still aims to make a buck off of Kipper, or his agent.
