One of the problems in St. Louis right now is there penalty killing. Well that issue seems to have been addressed as the Blues have traded for defensive specialist Kirk Maltby. Maltby who spent the beginning of the season with the Jackets and Preds, comes to the Blues and looks forward to playing with Kris Draper. These two long time friends are happy to be reunited again on the same team.

"When GM Chad told me i was being traded, my 1st thought was great, who am i going to now. And once he told me the Blues, i remembered that Kris was just recently acquired by them. We've been buddies for a long time and i can't wait to play on the same team." said Maltby.
