Default Caps Big test... 10 games... 12 days

The Washington Capitals embark on what could be the most important stretch of their season. Starting a 10 game, 12 day trek that starts in LA, is in Washington the next day, LA the next, Washington after then all along the east coast with one quick trip out to Phoenix for some golf..

If the Capitals survive this trip intact and above .500 and with minimal injuries it will be seen as a success.. It is expected that Auld and Dipietro will split duties.

The two games in bold are must wins, as wins in both games would mean GM Hesla would win his sig bet with GM Penney....

GO CAPS!!!

Day 49

313 CAPITALS at DUCKS

Day 50

327 PANTHERS at CAPITALS

Day 51

345 CAPITALS at KINGS

Day 53

359 WINGS at CAPITALS

Day 54

374 CAPITALS at PANTHERS

Day 56

392 BLUES at CAPITALS

Day 57

407 CAPITALS at HURRICANES

Day 58

422 CAPITALS at COYOTES

Day 59

437 DEVILS at CAPITALS

Day 60

451 ISLANDERS at CAPITALS

Pretty crazy schedule coming up for a lot of teams - including the Avs. 10 games in 11 nights including six in a row starting tomorrow.

i was actually complaining about the schedule at first but this makes the game harder, it is preety unrealistic schedule but makes you acquire depth and acquire those depth players around 70-72ish..but hopefully next year the sim fixes its act.

myself, the preds are starting:
4 in 4 nights
night off
back to back
night off
another 4 in 4 nights

so we also have 10 in 12 nights coming up...watch for hannu and barbaric berra to split the time.

Bruins have 11 games in 13 nights coming up. Not sure what the SIM was up to when it made the schedule. I think ive had like 3 games the last week and a half.

The Pens have 11 games in 13 nights coming up as well...It seems I have a week off play 3 games another week off play a game and then a week off and 6 straight games....Totally crazy schedule and I am not surprised seeing the wacky things the sim does.

Well when you play 86 games in 150 days you're going to have 11 back to backs as an absolute minimum. Than factor in that for the past week that theres been 3 games max and the first 5 days or so of the season it's the same thing and you can see where the craziness comes from. My team just finished a 9 game in 11 day stretch than had a week off and now has to play 11 games in the next 13 days. In that stretch we get 3 straight against the Hawks on consecutive days.
