Not sure if anyone here follows CIS football as much as I do, but yesterday Darryl Stephenson became the first Windsor Lancer to win the award in 27 years. Kind of cool being from the same football program I was a part of.
He is re-writing the rushing record books at an astonishing rate.
No running back in history has more yards than Stephenson in his first three seasons. His total of 3,638 yards already ranks him third on the OUA record list and 10th all-time in the CIS
Unreal numbers for three seasons, putting him in the same category as Jesse Lumsden and Tim Tindale, and doing it in only three seasons.
