A couple of deals made in the sunshine state in the past 24 hours.

The first one sees Miko (I will never step out of Saku's shadow) Koivu go to Florida for Braydon (dont call me Bruce) Coburn.

In the other deal that made Axel late for afternoon bingo at the lodge saw Jeff Halpen (Potential UFA), Brian Lee and some cash leave for Kyle Calder and LA's 2nd round pick in 2008.

I like the 2nd deal for Tampa, but like the first deal more for the Panthers, Koivu is coming into his own this season, and Coburn seems to be still a ways away.

Pretty much why I did it. Koivu is looking great in Minny and is getting lots of icetime.
