George: Bla bla bla Rummy and I felt it was time to make a change. Some guy named Bob Gates will have his job. Bob was the director of the CIA and is the president of Texas A&M.

I don't think it's a coincidence that this is happening the day after Britney filed for divorce from K-Fed.

HAve you ever seen K-Fed and Rummy in the same room? Coincidence?

I would also look for Dick to step down if the Senate ends up splitting 50/50 to look for a more moderate VP.

The Senate won't split 50/50. Tester has been called for Montana and Webb has a pretty solid lead in Virginia. Cheney isn't going anywhere, IMO--unless the GOP decides they need to increase the national profile of a possible presidential candidate.

I doubt the GOP would want to tie a potential presidential candidate to the Bush administration right now... I'm sure Cheney will ride it out.
