Cell Phone Questions

I know that there are a couple of people who know lots about cell phones and work in the industry that post on CP, so here goes...

I want to buy a new phone (Motorola PEBL) and I plan on buying it on ebay. So can I buy the phone and just swap the SIM card from my old phone into the new one and everything will work perfect (including voicemail, text messages, mobile internet etc.) Is it that simple, just swaping the SIM card or is it more complicated.

Does Rogers allow their customers to use unlocked phones from a third-party (ie. Ebay).

anyphone you buy from E-bay SHOULD be unlocked... and yes... it is as simple as swapping sim cards.

And also. most phones unlock as soon as u put in the sim card.
