Default Children in Texas told to fight gunmen, should they attack school

I was reading this, and thought... ok... a bunch of all-american texas boys in highschool can do this no problem...

then i read:

Quote:
The fact that someone walks into a classroom with a gun does not make them a god. Five or six seventh-grade kids and a 95-pound art teacher can basically challenge, bring down and immobilize a 200-pound man with a gun
Seventh graders?

Boy, thats a scary tactic that is a 100% recipe to get a kid killed if they rush a gunmen.

Including their ego...or cowboy style attitude.

I wouldn't be sending my kids to that school if such actions are encouraged.

if a bunch of 7th graders came charging at me, I wouldn't hesitate to open fire.

Considering the state of childhood obesity in this state, by the time any of the kids rushing the shooter actually reached him, he probably will have died of old age.

Have another cheeseburger there fat-tard...

How about if some of these schools invested in things like a nutritional lunch program, or (heaven forbid!) EDUCATION and guidance counselling, instead of the one in a million odds of a homicidal maniac coming to school.

Reminds me of how the US spends 195 million dollars per day fighting "terror" in the wrong country as a result of 2000 people being killed in 9/11, while 50,000 are killed each year on the highway.

Where is the sanity and common sense?

Why don't they just give each kid a gun when they get to school?

Afterall, as some CP members have pointed out to use before, increasing guns does not increase shootings.
