The Dallas Stars have aqcuired defenceman Kurtis Foster, 2007 2nd round pick (DAL), and 2007 fourth round pick (QUE) from the Nashville Predators for defenceman Anton Volchenkov and prospect Brian Boyle.

"We have upgraded our blueline, with this move. We got bigger and better on the PP, an area where we have been struggling all year."

The Stars still need defenceman and welcome all offers.
