Default Old Hockey Cards!

Does anyone still collect hockey cards, or still have their collection from like the early 90s?

I'm packing all my stuff up to move into an apartment next weekend and I found my old hockey cards circa 1991. Holy crap are there some young looking superstars in there. Guys like Joe Sakic don't even look like Joe Sakic!

What the hell do I do with these? I don't want them, garbage? Anyone want them?

You should sell some of them. If you get a price guide (like $2.00) you can look them up and some of the cards can be worth alot. I have some rookie cards from when I was a kid and some of them go for over $100.

Somewhere at my parents house (or maybe my brother took em), I have like 25 Luc Robitaille's who for some reason used to be my favorite NHLer when I was a lil girl. I wonder how much they're worth....I wonder if my bro has em still..I think I gave them to him to put in his hockey binder..hehe.

When my parents ripped up the carpet in my childhood bedroom, they found a Wayne Gretzky rookie card and a Gordie Howe card from the same year underneath.

I agree that you should go get a price guide. About 15+ years ago my grandparents were renting a place out to some people and they skipped out and said they didn't care what happened to their stuff. Turns out there was a 5 drawer dresser full of hockey cards from the 60's-90's. We went through them and now I'm the owner of a Gretzky rookie card, 2 of his second year cards, Messier rookie, etc, etc, etc.....

Remember Patrick Lebeau? Don't worry, nobody else does either. I do because I have 25 of his rookie cards. How could a guy with 174 points in a QMJHL season miss? At least I still got my Gretz rookie and my MacInnis Rookie!

LOL! Stephan Lebeau always wondered if there was a smaller player out there. Turns out he didn't have to look very far. Stephan was listed at 5'10". If he's that tall, I'm 6 feet (I'm 5'7")

I bought sets of 50 Flames, Jets, and Nordiques cards off ebay for a penny for each set. Got some fun players out of the 150 cards.
