Just heard this on TSN - Ken Caminitti has passed away from a heart attack at hte age of 41. Tragic. Of course you will remember Caminitti is the former MLB NL MVP who admitted to using steroids during his career. Hopefully people take this is a lesson with regards to the dangers of steroid use.

IIRC, he was in the news a few weeks ago, apoplgizing for dropping out of rehab. Rehab for cocaine, that is.

Story from a few days ago, actually.

Heart attack...maybe, but maybe its suicide?

Of little consequence in the grand scheme of a person losing thier life, but it must be pondered...what will this do to the Astros tomorrow in Game 5?

I'm not exactly sure how one can commit suicide via heart attack...

Either way, terribly tragic. Especially to lose two good people in such a short time.

Most OD's are heart attacks. Sometimes its obvious it's a drug OD, other times its discovered during the autoposy that there's too much chemical in the body that stopped the heart.

As you say, moot point. Just seems a bit coincidental with his recent troubles brought once again brought into the public light, and this.
