Here is the list of the first 20 people that responded:

Please check in before Sunday night. I would like to get the draft started on Monday (Sept. 4). The draft will take place in this thread. A live online draft is unpractical because it does not work for so many people.

A basic summary of the rules:

1 point for a goal.
1 point for an assist.
1 piont for win.
3 points for a shutout.
The person with the most points at the end of the season is the winner.

If anyone is familiar with officepools, this pool will run the exact same way. Except on Yahoo Sports. Each participant will select 8 forwards, 4 defenceman, and 2 goalies (change from original proposal). I will use a random selector to determine draft order. The person that selects 20th, will select 21st, and 19th will select 22nd etc.....I will then input all the players into Yahoo before the season starts on October 4th.

For those that don't check in, hopefully some of the others that responded a bit late are still interested and they can fill in.

Please check in before Sunday with a simple "Hi" or "I am here" before Sunday. Please also sign up with Yahoo:

Yepp, no worries I want to start the draft on Sept. 4 so we have a whole month to finish the draft.
