Most consecutive wins. Right not its at 18 and they are tied with 6 other teams.
Next week they play Miami @ NE, right now if anyone has been watching Miami there is probably no bigger gimmie than they are.
That being said this has all those tell tale signs of some sort of crazy thing happening, against the worst team in the league.
Miami has NO running game (they ran 65.5% of their plays last year), so thats how much Ricky Williams ment to them, and by no running game I mean NONE what so ever, they have their 5th string RB in there or something, everyone else is out with Injuries. Their passing game... well it wasn't good with Ricky, its not going to be better now.
They also have a BAD offensive line, almost no protection. All the opposition has to do is pass rush every time and thats it.
Lets hear your thoughts? Will the unthinkable happen?

No chance.
Miami does have a decent defense, and I'm surprised it took a gross Fiedler mistake today for the Jets to win by 8, but there is no way in hell that team goes into Foxboro and beats New England.
Ok, it could happen, but I think it would take maybe a +5 Dolphin turnover advantage and a defensive TD or 2.
I can't see it.

Yea I realllllly don't see that happening.
I was dreading to see Miami take the ball on offense, just an atrocious(sp?) bunch of players. Especially with Chambers out it's just getting hard to read about this team. Henry did a decent job running, but Jets D has never been REAL good against the run.
Against a NE team with THAT kinda defense I just really don't see it happening at all. But I think some players on NE will just underestimate Miami over the week but I'm sure Bellicheck will keep them in line on that issue.

The NFL does not consider this a record because they don't count playoff games. That is illogical to me. Playoff victories are more impressive than regular season games.

I think the only game the Pats will lose all year will be to the Jets on the road. I don't know when that happens on the schedule, and it's a hunch more than anything. Other than that the Pats will win every other game this year including the Superbowl over the Eagles.

Oh I know that after watching the Dolphins play a few games theres not a chance in hell that they could win.
Although it makes you wonder that NE is now tied with 6 other teams for this record?

Add in that bizarre hex thing that the 72 Dolphins always seem to put on every undefeated NFL team that plays the Dolphins and one would have to believe theres some bizarre force keeping this record from being broken.
