IMO, it's clearly the winner because of the price. I won't be buying the first generation of this thing, but if I see that they've moved into making more mature games like Call of Duty and some sports games, I'll be buying it. The 360 and PS3 just cost too much, and when it comes to having fun, if this thing is 1/2 the price compared to the others, as a student, I'll be taking my money there. I may be buying my first system since Super Nintendo.

I'm pretty sure that I'll get this sometime this year. Looks like it could be a lot of fun. I'll probably pick up the Zelda game as well. Definitely easier to buy this than a PS3 or a 360 (even though the core version is only a little more it just isn't worth it compared to the regular version).

I'm pretty interested to see what type of games end up coming out for the Wii. If they cater to the older crowd again, I may pick one up at some point. And it remains to be seen if the controller is worth the hype.

I've heard the GameCube discs will be compatible with the Wii, and that you can download old NES, SNES, N64, GC!
I am definitely picking this up.

Played on a prototype awhile back. You won't be disappointed if you pick this system up.

It's not a next gen system graphically but it's going to be fun as hell. I'm down.

I hope the Wii outsells the PS3 enough to lure that whore known as SquareEnix back to making FF games for nintendo.

Despite the fact you can get most, if not all previous Nintendo games on all systems through the marvels of the Internet, having the Wii and being able to 'download' old games is what's leading me to buy this console. I think it's going to be the critical selling point, other than the price. It will draw in alot of old school gamers again.
I mean, who doesn't want to play Punch-Out one more time on their Plasma TV?

Don't forget the all-time best beat'em-up for the original NES, and possible the best in its genre for any system, River City Ransom! I encourage those of you who get the Wii to download it - you won't be disappointed...

Super dodge ball is the best! Top Gear is proabably still my favorite racing game. You don't have to use the brakes.
It would be nice to see the turbographix games again, I originally had the PC engine(japanese turbo). They had this game, sort of like Wonder boy but it's all chinese where if you pass a level in a certain amount of time, it brings you to cave where there is a strip show. hehe
