Hey all!

Some might remember that I posted about a show my band was supposed to have on Canada Day that got cancelled. Well we've got another one coming up in just over a week.

September 9th I'll be taking to the stage with my cohorts of engineered rhythm as our band TSG.

The Distillery is located at 180-839 5 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB T2P 3C8.. It's on the SE corner of 8th street and 5th avenue.

We're hoping to pack the house so I'm extending an invitation to all those on CP who want to come check us out. Contrary to many's beliefs I'm sure, we're not an emo band.. More punk rock with some metal influences. We've got one song that kinda sounds like a Judas Priest song.. I like to dedicate the song to Dion Phaneuf because it's pretty bad-ass.

I don't know the exact start time right now, but I'd assume 9-10 PM or so.

I gaurantee that you'll have a good time, so give us your Saturday night and let us entertain you.

Sadly, I never fulfilled my dream to become a sports and entertainment lawyer. Probably too late for me to learn the ropes now, but I hope I can see your band soon. I don't think my wife will support a career change that requires me going to nightclubs every night.

If you do need this kind of support, there are a few lawyers that specialize in this at the larger downtown firms.

Good luck - I respect anyone that has the moxy to perform music in front of an audience.

By your set list it sounds like you have a significant amount of covers or themes, do you have aspirations to put out an album?

Uhm.. we do one straight cover of a Beatles song, and we play the theme songs from TMNT and Mario.. Those two together take about 2 minutes :P

We're mostly original music. That comprises about half our material.

Beatles, TMNT and Mario, that's what I meant. I don't know how long the other songs are. Three out of ten, you can see my confusion.

You saying original is half is what I put it at. It wasn't a shot at all, just a question about the future. I'm excited, just putting it together in my head.
