Default No Mac attack?

This isnt an attack on Calgarys number 1 QB...its about giving the backup "some time" to adjust to the players if our #1 goes down to injury...or simply plays a bad game.
I always liked Danny and was happy that the Stamps picked him up in the offseason...but just to hold a clipboard? Isnt there times when Danny could go in and offer something different...or even give Burris a look from the sidelines to see what hes missing?
The Stamps are really pooching Dannys attributes IMO...Im not suggesting a flip to Danny as #1...but give him some minutes or they wont get the rust off his armor with a grenade when really needed.

Danny Mac has been given a bit of playing time...games against Saskatchewan and BC come to mind when they were out of reach. I think he could have been put in for some minutes to shake of the rust on Monday...last night when the game is close, not so much...

Game was too close last night to consider using McManus. Besides the 2 fumbles for touchdowns I don't think Burris played too bad. On those 2 plays you can also blame the O-line just as much as him.

The way the O-Line has played in the losses if we put D-Mac in there in would be a sackfest for the opposing team. He may have a quick release but at his current age and weight I am not sure even that could save him from the turnstile blocking the O-line has employed at times this season.

I like Danny Mac, but the guy didn't do much for the cats a couple of years back... wasn't it something like 1-17??

The guy throws more INT's than he does TD's!!!

I think he is great where he is on the sidelines. Hank will still be playing for a few more years, this should be Mac's last dance! He is a great mentor for Henry and sometimes you learn best by going out there and doing it yourself with Danny giving him tid-bits on the sideline. Henry is a solid number 1... yeah he can be frustrating, but every QB is now and again, especially in the cfl.

I guess that all I'm saying is this is Hank's team, he needs the ball to be fully trusted to him and by putting Mac in there more says to him that the faith is not fully there and as such undermines a pretty decent QB we have and hopefully will for a few more seasons!
