Robomaid scaring the crap out of me

pardon if this is a fata, but what the hell is up with the robomaid video at the top? Is this the next step in the evolution of high-annoyance advertising? Actual audio playing and confusing me and making me search crazily for five mintues trying to figure out which of my software apps is doing this ( or worse, a virus )....

i know calgarypuck needs money from advertising but jeebus jones, atleast it shouldnt talk!

I use IE and never get pop-ups or ads. I don't know if I downloaded something that blocks them or what, but I get nothing.

On the computers at the university I do though.

There was a pop-up blocker with the latest Windows XP service pack download. Maybe that's it?

I usually have my pop-up blocker off when I come to CP but I never get pop-ups either.
