Anybody seen this HBO documentary? I just watched yesterday and it really left me with a sense that the mainstream public is completely out of touch with both the hardships the soldiers are going through right now and the severity of the situation.

That doesn't surprise me. Even Hotel Rwanda leaves you with the feeling that Western nations just don't give a ****.

It's all over the 24 hour news stations, but who actually pays close attention and is moved by the content?

I felt like that kind of graphic content and I guess also jarring emotional content is absent even from newsworld/cnn, at least from what I've seen. I'd highly recommend it anyway, as uncomfortable as it is to watch.

I've seen it as well. Just amazing what these guys go through. All the death and amputation and stuff is just nuts.
