Default Ti-Cats not the only team making changes

The Bombers have released Mike Quinn and Scotty Anderson.

Man, that was a pretty easy decision (re: releasing Quinn).

As mentioned in the worst-coaching-decision-ever thread, the end of that WPG-TOR games was one of the worst I've ever seen.

In field goal range, and the QB throws a pick in the end zone. Brutal. And to make matters worse, they get the ball back - a second chance they didn't deserve - and their third stringer throws the ball right to O'Shea. There wasn't a receiver anywhere near that throw.

One of the worst endings to a game I've seen.

But I should mention that I haven't seen the last few Ti-Cat games. Perhaps those would rate up there as all-time stinkers, from what I've heard.

Well the TiCats for the most part are out of the game after the other team gets their first possession. Pretty predictable after that moronic display against Toronto. I'm not a Winnipeg fan or anything, but lets face it the better the Bombers do the better the odds of Edmonton missing the playoffs. Quinn single handedly cost them that game, hopefully the Bombers will rebound this week and beat the Riders while the Stamps annihilate the Eskimos. Add in an Argo and Lions win and Edmonton would be looking good.

Quinn's never going to be more than a backup in this league, but seems to me like he's being a scapegoat here for the coaching staff not using their running back. And now if Glenn can't make it back from his injury, they're stuck with Banks and his 39% completion average. Good luck with that, Bombers.
