Nash Traded!
Well GM Penney finally found the right deal and decided to trade superstar Rick Nash. Nash will be packing his bags for the windy city of Chicago where he will rott in hell and never make the playoffs in a million years.
"Nash really was a favorite of mine but I firmly believe that we got a deal today that was just too good to pass up".
Coming to Florida are...
Ales Hemsky and Alexander Frolov

Ales Hemsky

Alexander Frolov
What GM Penney will do with these two young studs is anyone's guess but if recent history is any indication, they won't be panther's for long!!!!

The Hawks just couldn't refuse GM Penney any longer. After weeks of daily advances for Frolov and Hemsky, the Hawks said OK.
Also coming to Chicago with Mr Nash is Zenon K. Whoever.
Mr Nash will be the leading scorer for the Hawks, and we are VERY pleased to have him in Chicago!

Come on how do you all feel about this trade.
It was hard to make. I gave up 2 of my first line, and it was all I had!
But I got a franchise guy.
Good? Bad? Indifferent?
Nash is drinking his coffee right now. Not sure if he spiked it or not though

I do not mind the trade as long as Hemsky's pinky stays health.

I believe in the Pony Power

Depends on whether you value one superstar more than two stars.
Hemsky and Frolov will both be good, but they won't be as good as Nash.
I think Nash could win the Richard this year if he stays healthy so let's assume he's an 83/84 OVR next year. I predict Frolov is a 77ish and Hemsky a 79/80.
Long-term pretty even steven.

Seems like an even deal right now but several edmonton media ppl believe Hemsky is going to be a 90+ point player this year. Is Nash a 90+ point player? I dont think so but he could score 50+ goals.

According to an Oiler fan I asked, Hemsky is better than Nash

I think in the long run, Hemsky will be very good. But no Nash. Frolov will be pretty darn good too, but still no Nash.
Will Nash be as good as both of them put together? No, but he is a franchise, and should make whoever plays with a better player. And right now, that somebody is Jussi.
Oh my the Hawks are not so good.
eek!

hemsky 90+?
Hemsky will be lucky to break 50 points this year the way edmonton has shipped half their team away. he may end up with 3 goals and 47 assists if hes lucky

Scoring Winger

This kills me to say it, because I hate the oilers, but I think Hemsky is the next Zetterberg.

I think MJK wins this trade. Nash is a good player, but you get two first liners for one first liner. Seems like a no brainer to me.
The question is now, how long until Becky moves Nash to Dallas haha.

CPHL most active trading GM vs. CPHL GM who has no idea how to build a TEAM.
Becky let me remind you the overalls and the ages of the players you just gave up.
Frolov 76OV 23 years old
Hemsky 77OV 22 years old
vs.
Nash 80 22 years old
how do you always allow the GMs to rip you off?

Seems like a fun thing to do Nick. After Dave gave up so much to get Nash, I thought I should help him out.
Perhaps if you got screwed more ofter you wouldn't be in such a bad mood all the time.
