CDs, records, tapes; my bad habit is buying too many CDs. Too many to count.
I bought 6 yesterday:
Interpol - Antics
Drive-By Truckers - The Dirty South
Rogue Wave - Out of the Shadow
X - Los Angeles (Special Edition)
XTC - Mummer (Japanese Import)
Mark Lanegan Band - Bubblegum

Incorrect, none of them are "punk rawk". Peter12 caught you in a trick question, kudos to him.

Well, since people are going to start counting CD-R's... I probably have at least 500 and change kicking around.

Except for its creation in the late 70's, a revival in the early 90's, and a few exception groups. ie. Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, underground... Punk is turning into mainstream awfulness.

Only heard it once so far, but a very good first impression. At times it sounds like a Tom Waits CD. Very positive reviews over-all, and should make many critic's end-of-year lists:

Hey man, I like punk.. and it's not that Simple Plan kind of sh*t
Lagwagon, Mad Caddies, Crowned King, NoFX, Pulley, LTJ, the new Blink182, etc..
Emo's just something I like too.. Get Up Kids, Thursday (apparently), The Postal Service
And for those who generalize me, that's not the only stuff I listen to.
Also include, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, Metallica, Jurassic 5, Massive Attack, Zero 7, Bob Dylan, etc..
So there beeyaches
EDIT:
Alright music critics, has anyone heard of Ellliot Smith (stabbed himself in the heart, and has a song on the Good Will Hunting soundtrack)?
I've heared his new CD due out October 19th is really good, has anyone had a chance to hear any of it, via various sources?

Heard some of his stuff, can't tell you which songs I have heard by a friend of mine likes him and I remember him telling me that story. The 5 or 6 songs I heard, I enjoyed.
