very interesting pics. If you look at his Beirut pics, you can see how beautiful that city is...what an amazing setting too.

you know, I tried to see beauty, after reading your comment Mr. 5, but I didn't see much beauty, only hatred.
(well, the castle thing was a neat historic site)

2nd... I don't see it.

I mean, you can see the culture... but nothing stands out to me.

Did you guys not look at the "here and here" links at the top of the page? Beirut looks amazing but I'm not sure what kind of state it's in now. Apparently Beirut has historically been a gem in the area.

A very beautiful city...or was anyway.

Touche! I revoke my previous post. Looks very nice. Too bad it's a safe heaven for a terrorist organization..

If you guys would look around the site you would find his pictures of Beirut. And yes it is a VERY beautiful city. The southern part of the city is Hezbollah controlled and it is a dump. GO figure.

Interesting collection of pics. As someone else pointed out, you sure sense the hatred. I fail to realize how anyone could expect the main population to control or expel the radicals in society. IMO the only way to create any stability is to have an international force involved.

How do you figure that? You think the British government and people know where they are and allows them to opperate ala The Lebanese government and their people?

Terrible comparison Table.

Have you ever been to London? The place has a massive muslim population, and has been known to house countless "spiritual leaders" who have terrorist ties, most of whom are openly located in the countless mosques of London. It's no big secret that the British for the most part have been unwilling to deport many of these individuals ( a mutual deterrence perhaps?), even though they have been publicly calling for the anihilation of western society.

Don't be so naive to thing that just because a place doesnt have posters on the streets, it cant be a haven. Sheer size itself is a haven. A city the size of London is very easy to get lost in, so I'm sure there are many cells there who operate with relative ease.....as they do in big cities like New York, Cairo, Toronto etc.

There is a big difference in having a large muslim population with some having radical ideas (and most are probably citizens and can't be deported) and allowing a self proclaimed terrorist organization to run part of your country along with allowing them to have their own military stocking as much arms as possible. Terrible example on your behalf. Most nations have a cluster of radical terrorists running cells in there country. Doens't mean the government supports them and realizes on them to do their dirty work.

You tell me whats more dangerous. Having a bunch of crazy wackos openly flaunting their hatred in the streets, living in a part of the world which everyone knows of and can monitor.....or having a small group in the suburbs of Toronto or London planning terrorist attacks quietly without any attention, but the same amount of hatred.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather my enemies flaunt their hatred. At least that way I know they are coming.

Is the US not the world's biggest terror producing nation? Have you looked at their history of aggression and incursions since WWII? Guess it's not "terror" if the world's biggest superpower causes it? Sounds like a double-standard.
