Capitals shore up Defence
The Washington Capitals made a deal on Monday to help shore up their 4th defence slot.
David Tanabe, Alexandre Burrows and prospect Olivier Labelle were shipped off to Anaheim for Bryan berard, Marcel hossa and prospect Dan oliver...
Berard brings more defensive responsibility and a better first pass than Tanabe.... however he is set to be UFA after this season.

Tarnstrom (73) - Tamer (71)
This mave leaves the Capitals with 4 dmen with good first passes.... Schnieder, Mara, Berard and Tarnstrom..
It is no secret that the Capitals are pursuing a means to bring in a PK specialist for the 4th line and to possibly upgrade their 2nd line wing.
